What a week!! I have been pushing myself to create more engaging content, share some of my techniques and literally put my face out there! Those of you who follow my art accounts on social media, you have likely watched a few of my awkward videos and hopefully participated in my Art Challenge. I have been loving all the feedback and suggestions…keep them coming. I am implementing a lot of new challenges, so please be patient as I work out the kinks. A quick recap of my week:
My daughter went back to full time in person learning, so we have been navigating all of those changes. I want to send out a huge shout out to all the teachers and administration for all that you are juggling, whether it is virtual or in person teaching. Thank you...we appreciate you!!
In the studio, Noodles has been up to her usual shenanigans. Stealing paint brushes, knocking over water bottles, stepping in paint and climbing my leg at the absolute worst times. #noodlesthestudiocat (follow me on Instagram to see her adventures).
I created an Art Challenge video and let my viewers decide what I was going to paint next. The winner: Bamboo!! So, you will want to stay tuned to see how I put that one together. If you follow my social media, you will get to see photos and video clips along the way.
As always, I’m pumping out those Small Works! These are my big sellers at galleries, gift shops and holiday markets, so I am always in need of more. I am getting more adventurous with designs and styles. Visit the Small Works store on my website to see more.
I wrapped up a few custom orders this week. I had several smaller custom pieces that got put on the back burner while I finished up some bigger jobs. It feels good to finally get those completed.
DCW Inspired! This facet of my job really keeps me busy…literally not enough time in my day! I am finally getting close to finishing the new DCW Inspired website. Just a few kinks to work out. I am also putting together some great Holiday Bundles, so stay tuned for updates on that. Great opportunities for holiday shopping!!

I just love when my custom order clients send me a photo of their new space! Although the pup wasn't too fond of the new living room arrangements, the clients were thrilled with the vibrant focal point to brighten up their neutral space.
